I have an older Carrier Furnace that has been working fine.

I have an older Carrier Furnace that has been working fine. Last night it would not ignite and still wont. I tried turning off electric power and gas control, waited 5 minutes and turned everything back on, Nothing, Any suggestions?
JA: Did you check the furnace's filters?
Customer: NO
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: That is my hope
