Customer Question

We have a Kewanee L35-125KD Boiler installed in one of our buildings around 1993. City inspectors are requesting a "manufacturer's rating plate". Any advise on how to obtain this?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: Recent inspection, sometime in November. The plate may have been missing for years!
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: We will install the plate if we can find it
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: that's it

Hello, the rating plate is the same as the boiler model and serial number plate which should be brass with black lettering riveted to the front of the boiler, about 3 x 4 inches in size. and with that L35 125KD model number on it.

Tell me roughly how large the building is please

Meantime I will check with the factory data base for you...

Let me know what you can find, we can go from there

The building is a residential apartment building of 66 apartments and 4 commercial stores. The plate you describe is missing from the front of the boiler.
