I have a Honeywell mini-zone for 2 zones. if I turn zone one

Hi I have a Honeywell mini-zone for 2 zones. if I turn zone one only works fine, also if I turn on zone two, but if i turn both on only zone 1 works.

Customer: since last time the technician came to do the service about one week.

Hello, depending on the wiring details, which can vary with each project, it may be that zone 1 is the *master zone* and over rides zone 2. That is because it is not possible for the system to run in both heating and cooling zones at once.... so that one zone, the master zone, controls if both zones are operating.

That is the most common configuration, one master zone, and the rest of the zones or zone as a *slave zone only.
