Customer Question

Burners do not light on my weathermaker 8000
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: since last night
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: well it's Sunday, and it's cold, if possible yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: 2 zone system, nest thermostats
JA: Just to clarify, do you think this is a larger HVAC problem, or something specific to the thermostat?
Customer: nothing happens when thermostats call for heat

Hello, how long have the NEST thermostats been in place, has the system worked earlier in heat mode with the NEST thermostats in place?

We have to eliminate the possibility of a wiring error first... those are pervasively common.

Beyond that the furnace may have gone off due tripping one of its safety limits... first step in that regard is to make sure the air filter is clean.

We can go from there.
