my slant fin is pushing the water through the relief valve
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: two days.i replaced the valve and it still does it
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: maybe

You either have an underlying expansion problem or a problem with the feed valve. If the pressure rises to above 30 psi when the boiler is cold and not firing then the feeder is the likely culprit. If the pressure rises to over 30 psi when the burner is firing then you have an expansion problem most likely due to a failed expansion tank.
