American standard freedom 80 furnace. had trouble last week

american standard freedom 80 furnace. had trouble last week would fire up then shut down right away,was told it was limit switch had probably stuck give it a light tap,i did and it started working again i ordered a new limit switch.This morning furnace came on and stayed on eventually blowing cold air went down to check red light blinking two times quickly,i shut power to furnace off replaced limit switch,turned power back on and no red light comes on and does not fire up?
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: filter is new and shouldn't red light come on and flash slowly as soon as power is on is ther a reset button ?
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: might after some diagnosing
