Do you have a multi-meter? what is the brand and model number of your unit? are you sure there is gas to the gas control valve?

I have multi tested brand is Goodman model gmvd gcvd

You need to check for 24 vac at the gas valve while the igniter is glowing. If you have 24 v then the gas valve is suspect. If you don't then the board is suspect or it may be a bad connection
