I have a 6K583a Dayton motor and I'm trying to hook it up to

Customer Question

I have a 6K583a Dayton motor and I'm trying to hook it up to a drama switch 2x441. When we follow the wiring diagram and turn on the motor all we get is a humming noise. What are we doing wrong?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: 3 hours
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: 2x441a is the switch part number. I forgot the "a" above.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: This is for a bender and we move the motor forward and reverse.

Hi I'm Brian and I'm here to help! Correct me if I'm wrong but you have motor wire colors of blue, red, yellow and black and you reverse red and black to reverse direction correct? Also, your drum switch has 6 terminals numbered 1 thru 6 correct?
