I have a carrier infinty control and it has nothing lighting

Customer Question

Hello, I have a carrier infinty control and it has nothing lighting up on the display and my furnace won't turn on. I looked to see if there was a battery, but there wasn't one. The breaker seams to be on and I am not sure what to do?
JA: Did you check the furnace's filters?
Customer: No, but I will
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes, if possible
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I did look at the filtee and it is quite dirty. It is a standard filtee that is sitting in where an electronic one used to be, but it has been this way since the furnace was installed 14 years ago
