I have a mitsubishi split (7 years old) stopped responding

i have a mitsubishi split (7 years old) stopped responding to remote and won't start. I changed the battery in the remote and it didn't help. Bracker is okay. Whats next? Who can i call?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: One month. I have central air and this is additional in my bedroom.
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: Filters have been cleaned and thermostat on the remote seems okay.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: no
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I would like it repaired or replaced if needed.

It is most likely a problem with the actual remote or the receiving end in the unit itself.

You should try a different remote first, try and borrow one at the local mitsubishi dealer.

If it works good!, if not you will need a service tech to resume the fix.

There is a manual switch in the indoor unit in the filter access cover on the right hand side, try switching that to see at least if unit will start.

If the switch does not force unit to turn on then there is a problem with the indoor control board in the unit.

That will be a job for a service technician.
