How long does it take to heat 1 inch of carbon steel ball(sphere) in a furnace?

The carbon ball is in a electrical furnace.
Operating temperature is 270 degree Celsius.
I need to know how long it takes to heat the ball to 270 degree Celsius to the core.
Ball sizes:130mm(5.2 inches),105mm(4.2 inches),80mm(3.2 inches).

Hi. That can be a complicated question. It depend of the furnace. Is it air convection or magnetic induction? As you mention an "operating temperature" i assume it is heating air that then heat the metal? If that is so, is air heating the metal by conduction or by convection?
