I am having issues setting up Honeywell RTH6350D. Just about

I am having issues setting up Honeywell RTH6350D.
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: Just about 30mins. I purchased it a few ago and installed it but it has 2 wires off. The C and the O
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes, Its already installed and when it turns pn, it appears the heat and the AC are going at the same time
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: Yes, my question is what do I do with the 24 common and the Cool mode power reverse wires
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Other than the model I changed from was a Hunter 44860 model to this Honeywell model

Yellow Y1, white W2, green G, Blue C, orange O, black E, red RC/R, there was a jumper to going to RH

Press and hold the UP ARROW and FAN buttons until screen changes (app 5 seconds)You will see Function 1 appear.Use the UP or Down arrows to change it to 5.Then hit NEXT to go to function 2. Set it as shown in list below. SET all functions and then hit done.

Excellent. White and black with both go to AUX/E since thermostat has a single terminal. (One energizes heat strips in aux mode and other energizes them in emergency mode)

Then after wiring thermostat, you will need to go to the installer setup menu and select the following for each function to match the thermostat to your system.

1=5

2=0

3=1

5=9

6=9

7=9

Any other functions are at your discretion.

If any functions listed do not show available, this means thermostat has setup based on a previous selection.

It will not work right unless we do this

I did, doing as you ask and only shows the functionsame I mentioned. 1 then then jumps to 6, 13, 14. That's all

Ok is one set to 5, and 2 set to 0?

The manual shows on functions of 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, 14. But I'm not seeing all those.

OK do not worry about any you do not see, When you selected 5 for function one, they were automatically configured for you if they do not show up. Lets give it a try.

The fan is on but not the unit outside. Also why is the screen showing Temporary

I flip the switch from auto to on and the unit came on.

Go back to auto. Both units should come on in auto. but we may have a delay before outdoor comes on.Let me know if Cool is solid or flashing

Okay, it's in auto. The fan is off and the unit outside is off, also the cool is flashing.
