Is the coil sitting on top of a gas furnace?

My reply was a question, not a statement. Is the coil sitting on top of a gas furnace or s it in an electric air handler?

If in an air handler ,much easier than on a furnace. If on a furnace, it is almost impossible to do a good job without pumping down refrigerant and removing coil.

You can possible get to it to do a halfway decent job by removing vent from furnace. Then remove the front col panel. Once inside there will be another A shaped panel connecting the two sides of coil. THis panel will also have to be removed which is no picnic, to access the underside of coil.
