Hello, I need the brand and model number of the air conditioner, and if it is gas fired or electric heat.

We can go from there.

Expert:  Phil replied 1 year ago.

So far I suspect a stuck heating control relay or sequencer in side an electric furnace.

That sounds exactly right! It's a white rodgers 1f85-277
Expert:  Phil replied 1 year ago.

Hello again, white rodgers only makes the thermostats and a few other parts, not the entire furnace, and that involves a lot of complex controls that are well beyond what most home owners can cope with themselves.

Tell me which direction you are from the center of the nearest town or city and I will see if I can locate a well rated service company for you.

Or.. tell me a lot about your electroincs background and I can coach you though a diagnosis, you will meed a good multi meter and a few hours time.
