Hi, Our A/C is not working I have chaecked the furnace and it is not working on either heat or a/c and it ia an amana and is showing a e5 code
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: yes I have cycled the thermostat and nothing and the filter is good
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: well we have a 100 year old WW2 vet with us so the A/C is very importiant in our Colorad HOT weather
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: It is a New furnace and a new train A/C unit 9 months old

Hello, at less than one year old, the system should still be under full warranty from the dealer... I will stay with you to the end on this, however right now see if you can get the dealer to send a man out, mention the 100 year old vet who is largely responsible for us living in a free country today.

Tell me where the e5 code I showing up, on the furnace or at the thermostat. We can go from there.
