my name is Billy. Did it run until you released the center spring point in the middle of the contactor?
Sounds like 2 different issues..do you know what the high pressure switch (if equipped) and do you have outdoor model number
do you have a volt meter?
ok do you see a small board with terminals T, B and A...which is a yellow blue and red wires to it?
what we are looking for is a switch mounted to a pipe...with 2 wires coming out of it.
On yop of this switch is a rubber covered plunger reset///yours will have 2 yellow/red stripe wires to it..and will be on a copper pipe the thickness of a sharpie or aa battery.
it will be inside the cabinet where the compressor is...but after looking at your delay board I am concerned if it is bad. See HERE
did you see my concern of burnt spot on your board?
the brown spot I pointed to with the diagram
normally I confirm with a voltmeter.
I am just trying everything I can for you without a meter...but the board does look suspect.
depends on age....the switches change appearance every couple years
do you see any switches mounted into a pipe with 2 wires on it?
that is a reverse valve to decide between heat and cool.
the switch we are looking for is fed by 2 wires..one on a larger pipe with 2 yellow and one on skinny pipe with 2 yellow/reds
at the bottom where the pipes come into the unit..follow the skinny pipe
I am having trouble opening these last 2.....
I am going to see if another peer can access them..
