I am replacing some thermostats for some lennox units. How can I tell if they are 2 stage or single stage cooling? I do have the model #s

Also if you did not see Y2 hooked up in thermostat it is not going to be a 2 stage.

The 2 contactor situation is not always true....many 2 stage are run by a PCB board.
