Customer Question

I have this old heat pump that came with the house 3.5 years ago. The heat pump info are:Day & Night High Efficiency Heat Pump
Model No: 541DJ024The problem is that the airflow is very low. I've changed the filter already, but to avail. What else should I be checking?

Check blower wheel and indoor coil to make sure they are clean.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Where is the blower-wheel? In the attic?I assume the A-coil is in the heat pump unit? If so, how do I access it?
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

Both will be in the air handler in attic. Also feel of the large copper pipe between units for signs of an iced indoor coil that may be restricting air flow.

Do you happen to have the instruction guide on disassembly/cleaning these?
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

There will probably not be specific instructions in print, but if you can get me the model on indoor unit,I will be happy to guide you step by step.
