I have an XT 80. Everything works except the fan won't come

Customer Question

I have an XT 80. Everything works except the fan won't come on. Fuse looks good. Breaker reset. Is there a condensate switch that is bad?

Hello, a tripped or bad condensate switch will shut down the outside cooling unit as well as the fan inside, not just the fan. Same is true for the door switch on the blower service door if the door is not fit properly.

we need to do a few tests

test number one

Set the thermostat 'fan switch to FAN ON' tell if the blower runs or not.

and tell me if the outside unit runs when you set the thermostat in cooling mode and down as low as it will go (thats a test only)

We can go from there
