I have a Rheem furnace and I 't know how to open the bottom

Customer Question

I have a Rheem furnace and I don't know how to open the bottom panel door. I'm trying to find the permanent filter in the unit. Previous repairmen have told us that there is not only the paper filter that we replace monthly, but also a permenant filter that we need to take out and clean.

The last couple of times that our air conditioner was not working and a repairman came to the house, he said it was because the permanent filter was filthy - completely clogged.
