Re: oil pump on a trane CRHM300 compressor; oil pump is apart.

Customer Question

Re: oil pump on a trane CRHM300 compressor; oil pump is apart. I need to know how the cast piece fits that sits between the spring and the gear-rotor. The piece has 2 cast holes of different sizes. Which is top, and which is bottom?
Thank you

Hello, send me a photo of the pump next to the end of the compressor where it mounts and the oil lines that used to connect to the old pump... generally the discharge of the oil pump is on the top however, I have yet to see an exception. Use the paper clip icon at the right end of the tool bar above to attach the photo, or the 'attach files' link to the left of your send button. We can go from there.
