My elderly mother has a Baxi 310fi - natural gas boiler. Last fall she called me and said she had no heat/or hot water. I reset and it heated up then went out showing fan/ flame fault. Called Service Tech. after several hours he determined broken clamp on flue... temp fix aluminum tape until clamp came in - that was Oct/ November. has worked until last week. now every 2-3 days get same codes and no hot water, Reset and works for couple days...

Hello, I see no one here has gone out on a limb and taken trouble shooting and coaching situation on.

That is because its possible to spend 3 or 4 hours, or even days, in coaching time on a diagnosis and repair and not get paid by the company... we loose our shirt that way... we only get paid if you rate our work positively. Unfortunately many of our customers neglect to rate.
