My thermostat is blinking FAN and the heat wouldnt kick in. I've reset the thermostat and also tried turning the batteries around backwards but still the same display and but now i have heat. I would still like to clear the FAN flashing, but also ensure the heat stays on.

What kind of thermostat do you have?

Also see if you accidentally put fan from AUTO to ON, Sometimes its a simple switch :)
