Customer Question

My thermostat is blank
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: My furnace was working but no heat. I diagnosed the problem as a bad surface igniter I replaced the igniter but when I did I noticed the thermostat had gone blank

Ok, what do you have a an LED blink sequence on the control board?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Does that help?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't know what an led blink sequence is
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Everything worked fine except no heat. I replaced the igniter now nothing works with the thermostat
Expert:  Rick replied 1 year ago.

You have to go to the furnace and look through the peep hole in the blower compartment panel and tell me how many times does the LED blink before it pauses and repeats

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It doesnt
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No light or blinking
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have the cover fully removed
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not seeing a light
Expert:  Rick replied 1 year ago.

There is no power to the unit if you remove the blower panel. You have to put it back so the blower panel switch is pushed in held in by the panel being properly in place

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok let me try that
Expert:  Rick replied 1 year ago.

Ok
