What is the model number of your heater? is the thermocouple connection at the gs valve dry (no pipe dope) and tight? is the pilot strong?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Pilot is strong. Model # *****

If the pilot is strong and 1/3 of the tip of the thermocouple is in the pilot flame and your connection at the gas valve is dry and tight then the only thing left is a problem with the gas valve.
