Tran xl80 furnace with 7 red flashes valve circuit error.

Customer Question

Tran xl80 furnace with 7 red flashes for gas valve circuit error. Tried cleaning the l shaped metal piece with one wire going to it in the burner section but didn't do anything. Furnace won't light. It goes through a sequence with yellow blinking light and fan starting but doesn't ignite and after 3 sequences of trying to start it shuts down and the 7 blinking red lights come on

1.Do you get any other codes on first or second attempt ?

2.Do you have a meter to see if we are getting voltage to the gas valve?

3. Does igniter glow or spark?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Steady red for 3 seconds followed by yellow every 1.5 seconds. Than after 3 cycles of trying to run it shuts down and the 7 flashing reds. No glow or spark but clicks. I just had the control board and pressure switch replaced 2 weeks ago. No meter for voltage

Take a look at the igniter and see if it looks broken or burned.
