Below will show proper wiring and explain what each one does:

OLD-------------------NEW

Red ------------------R(24v Power)

Green-----------------G (Green)(Fan)

Yellow-----------------Y (Yellow)(AC Contactors)

Blue--------------------C (24v Common)

Orange ----------------O (Reversing valve)

White-----------------AUX(White)(Heat strips auxiliary mode))

Black ---------------- -E(Heat strips in emergency heat mode)

Select 9 for function 6

Select 9 for function 8

Select 0 for function 14 for Fahrenheit or 1 for celcius.

There is probably a small auto type fuse in electrical compartment of indoor unit.

OK go to thermostat and remove red and green wire and touch them together and tell me if fan will come on.Thermostat is wired correctly
