I have a furnace that has Ultrazone EWC-ST-2E control panel.

Customer Question
I have a furnace...

I have a furnace that has Ultrazone EWC-ST-2E control panel. The furnace does not start when heat is required. It starts when I pull the relay out and put it back. What could be the problem?

Contractor's Assistant: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?

It works fine for cooling and also when heating is not required frequently. That is when it is not too cold outside

the relay you are pulling out....is it in the panel or the unit and what relay is it?

Ask Your Own HVAC Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
Out side the control panel. It is line electric coil CRH102C - 24 VAC
HVAC Technician: BillyHvac, Journeyman HVAC Tech replied 2 years ago

Ok that is breaking the 24v circuit and restarting...does turning thermostat off/on do the same thing?

Ask Your Own HVAC Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
Turning off and on the thermostat did restart the furnace same as the relay switch
HVAC Technician: BillyHvac, Journeyman HVAC Tech replied 2 years ago

Thank you, ***** ***** it is a 2 zone panel...does the other thermostat react same same way or just the master?

Or does second zonenot work until master off/on?

Ask Your Own HVAC Question
Customer reply replied 2 years ago
The second zone did not start until the master thermostat off and on
