If furnace is not coming on, there should be an error light flashing on the control board in blower compartment to indicate what has failed. If you can locate this and tell me the pattern of the flash, that will point us in the right direction for troubleshooting.

Also let me know if you have a multi meter for troubleshooting.WE will go from here.

No we don't have a multi meter eithe
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

Turn thermostat to call for heat and tell me what light does and if small vent motor where vent connects comes on.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It's not turning on at all now

It's not turning on at all no
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

Can you do some hands on?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

Either at thermostat or furnace board. Jump the R and W wire where thermostat wires connect and see if furnace will come on.

Solid red light now. Top left of board
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What does jump the wires mean?
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

I sent a picture. Connect them together. If you do not have a pair of needle nose pliers or a jumper, go to thermostat, loosen red and white wires and move the white over to red along with red.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Doing that now. What about other wires in thermostat
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

Don't mess with others, just get the red and white together.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The white wire broke
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
They are touching now
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

OK now with them touching tell me what happens at furnace

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Same. Solid red light
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

Ok lets go do same thing at furnace board. Now on furnace board we want to actually jump terminals on the board itself.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok did that
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

Still nothing from furnace and light solid?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Now solid light and nothing
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

OK look on furnace control board and see if there is a small purple fuse,if so remove it and see if it is blown

It's not blown
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

From here we will need a volt meter to see if we are getting voltage from transformer to board and voltage to vent motor.

You can get an inexpensive one at Walmart for about 15 bucks if you would like to troubleshoot and I would be happy to guide you.

Ok well unfortunately stores are closed.
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

No Walmart close by that is open 24hrs?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
About 30 min away
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 year ago.

If interested, I will be happy to wait, but since we are not getting any response from furnace when directly bypassing thermostat at board,it is likely you are going to need a part any way.
