I doubt your programming is set for that high a temp so I suspect you either have a bad thermostat or maybe a live short in the thermostat wiring. If it's still running turn the power off to the furnace then disconnect the lead from the R & W terminals on the thermostat and turn the power back on. Is the furnace still firing up?
