Customer Question

HVAC manufacturer: Goodman
HVAC model number: GMS80703ANAJust had a repairman out that replaced a short rubber hose in order to fix our no heat situation. Furnace worked fine for about an hour and just noticed that it's completely off, despite the thermostat showing the system being on. I've already checked the breaker and the safety switch on the unit itself.

hello,

The gms has a light on a circuit board...is this light on solid, not at all or flashing?

Billy

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The red light? Not on at all. It's behaving like there is no power to the unit.
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 1 year ago.

thank you...is the bottom door on securely? There is a switch under the bottom door that must be depressed fully

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It was. Double and triple checked the switch.
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 1 year ago.

if the light is off then the issue is with power and not the furnace.

do you have a voltmeter to trace?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't.
