Customer Question

I am installing a mini split system. I would like to put the inverter above the main door in a 750 square foot ADU. There is a 6 x 10 foot open area to the ceiling, with a spiral staircase to the second level, where the main door is. How high should I install the inverter on this wall?

You will want to keep the inverter as low as possible as heat on its on is going to want to rise. In cool mode, it really doesn't matter much as COLD air falls but for HEAT mode, A foot or so above door should be great
