Turn power off to furnace and thermostat off. Then power back on and call for heat.Tell me if igniter ever lights and if we get a different code before the lockout code.

Still no igniter. Fault light stayed on steady until I called for heat. I was able to ignite the burners with a long match. It is heating the house nicely, but I know that it is going to cut off when it gets to set heat and we'll be right back where we started.

OK tell me which of these two igniters your furnace has, (Carrier used both)
