Homeowner; just installed a Honeywell R7284U on a Beckett

Customer Question

Homeowner; just installed a Honeywell R7284U on a Beckett oil burner furnace. It would only sit in "standby" until I jumpered the "limit" connection to the "L1". However then it runs as soon as I supply power regardless of the thermostat calling for heat. I can pull the T stat off the wall and it still runs until I kill power to the system.
