I am not getting power to my thermostat. Breaker is on. Furnace has power.

open furnace, and locate circuit board in the blower section. On this board is a purple 3 amp is a blade fuse like found in a car.

Replace this fuse and you are back in business. It likely blew because furnace was still on when changing wires.
