We ran out of propane in our new Carrier forced air furnace,

Customer Question

We ran out of propane in our new Carrier forced air furnace, and it won't restart on its own. I'm guessing the low pressure switch kicked in when the propane ran out, but don't know how to reset it or if we have to bleed air out of the propane line.
We run a handyman business, so we know our way around most things, but I don't do much with HVAC.

it may have locked itself out. most low press switches reset themselves. try turning te power off for 10 sec then back on to see if that resets it.
