Hello and thanks for using this service, if you have been waiting do not worry or get upset I am just one of the techs on here and I try to get to as many customers as I can and I just picked up your question now. Please give me time to respond as typing, researching and adding links takes me time to do so please be patient and often I will ask you questions to narrow down the issue so do not rate me until we are done thanks.

The WIFI would not have anything to do with the heat AC issue, can you tell me what wires you have to what or upload a picture of the thermostat wiring you did ?

Didn't change any wiring

Ok did you check the correct setup in the installer menu for your type of system?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
that's alright, never mind. this is too difficult. I've got basic thermostat I'm trying to set to connect to wifi....there is a setting I've got to set, something like 39,0 or something. i'll figure it out.

Ok I think you just have it wrong in the setup for your system, very common if you have a heat pump...just a setting change and it will work
