I took my thermostat off-the-wall to look at it I put it back in the fan comes on manually but the cooling will not come on

The thermostat wires attach to the printed circuit card inside the furnace blower compartment, send me a photo of the printed circuit card that shows the thermostat wire connections very clearnly and I will mark it up with trouble shooting directions. You will need a multi meter to check voltage.
