Customer Question

I just need an opinion - I have a 10 year old 3 ton 13 seer unit. I need the air handler coils replaced as I have a Freon leak. have an estimate of $1300 to replace the coils, Freon and labor. Would be it better to buy a whole new unit based on the age or will the repair tide us over for a few years?

You should get more than twice (that long (20+ years) out of an air handler so I'd opt for the coil replacement.
