Give me a few more details. What was issue you wee having? Did you have numbers before replacing battery? What is model on label inside thermostat?Have you had any issues like power surge?

we had numbers before, then it went blank, we replaced the batteries and it just keeps flashing odd number. the numbers
on the wall are T811D1005(1) and 0531Pf1A

Try inserting the batteries backwards for five seconds.Then put them back in correctly.
