Hi I'm Brian and I'm here to help!

What you select for system type depends on what type system you have. I can help with all that and also ensuring your new thermostat is wired right. Can you tell me the make and model numbers of the equipment you're controlling? If a split system, indoor and outdoor model numbers both please. Also if electric air handler, if you have backup electric heat and how many KW of heat you have.

Thanks,

Brian
