Comfortnet control system giving me two errors I can't get

Customer Question

Comfortnet control system giving me two errors I can't get around. 1) air handler reports error: B1 motor comm - lack of communications between the control and motor. 2) heat pump reports error: D2 invalid system - the airflow requirement is greater than the airflow capability of the indoor subsystem.

quite often you find this failure is related to the module on rear of variable speed motor.
Have you checked the module out yet?

No. Know nothing about the motors. We turned the thermostat up when movers were moving us in about 1pm on Saturday. When movers left at 4pm we turned the air down but did not get any airflow and still haven't. We tried resetting breakers but no luck. I suspect that this is a thermostat problem.

You can have thermostat looked at....but with the combination of errors the prime suspect is usually the module on motor. This is not a homeowner friendly project and will require a Goodman Dealer
