Carrier Comfortview is not working on my computer.

Customer Question

Computer crashed with Carrier comfort view 3.2 installed. Got windows XP Pro disk out and reinstalled. Computer working fine but comfort View does not work. Got my comfort view disk out and installed that. Window pops up stating "The required database engine has not been installed." So is this one of those Microsoft update Service packs that I need or something different?

After you rebooted with disk, did you go online and update to current including revisions?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

No - I don't recall ever updating the original XP Pro when it was installed years ago. The Microsoft website no longer supports the XP version. The computer is working fine - just cannot start comfort view.
