I have a Raypak pool heater 156a, im getting a "pilot not sensored" but its lit and the burner wont come on

This could be due to a dirty flame sensor. The pilot electrode doubles as the flame sensor. You can try cleaning it off (carefully) with fine aluminum oxide sandpaper (take care to not move it out of position). Also check the electrical connections for the pilot electrode. If that doesn't work then the next step is to replace the pilot burner assembly
