Customer Question

I have a buderus oil furnace with TACO controller DHWfrom the furnace. I also try to heat an indoor swimming poll from the furnace with a water to a water heat exchanger. Works fine in winter but when the outside temp rises above the Buderus set point, the furnace will not come on except to heat DHW. TO compensate, I disconnect the OA sensor in summer . Is thee a better way??

Your method is the easiest option to avoid warm weather shut down of the boiler's heat function. Another option (but I think more trouble) is to reprogram the controller to a higher outdoor max temp but then you'd probably have to reprogram it for heating season.
