Doesnt go into 2 stage

doesnt go into 2 stage goodman handler mbvc 2000aa condensing unit DSXC180481 and thermotat nest with 6 wires to it rh-c-g-w1- y1 -y2 the handler displays c1 but wont go into c2 and  the fan stays in one speed .the unit is wired as diagram figure 8 on page 5 of the MBVC install instruction please help thank you

are you wishing to have the thermostat control second stage or the board in unit control second stage?

goodman is runnig ecm base network call confornet .all three unit are suppose to talk to each other but the nest dont let it do the is the nest compatible with this system to get the 18 seer. what do you think condenser dsxc 180481 handler mbvc 2000aa or get there compatible thermostat by goodman . inside unit runs on c1 and c2 but the outside stays in c1

The Nest is not 18 SEER compatible. The Nest actually dumbs this system down.

What thermostat were you running before the Nest?

ok BILLY you are a real master at what you do .Not many people know very much about these systems and i've talked to many even goodman tech support go figure . thank you for everything. you hit it right on the nail. you the best . one more thing has long I use a goodman confornet thermostat 1 ,2 ,3 or 4 gen I think everthing will be like its suppose work . thank you thank you and thank you

You are correct.

The comfortnet is a proprietary thermostat made exclusively for the system you have.

The problem is that many dealers are not current on technology or are not comfortable advancing into this field.

You can C1 and C2 together...but that dumbs it to a single stage.

Use the Comfortnet...and only the comfortnet...UNLESS the seer is not important and you want other options.

But for operation as designed keep the set together
