Customer Question

We have a two story, 3000 square foot home with two Carrier AC units.
Yesterday the bottom floor of our house wasn't getting cool (in 110 degree temp) and I checked the units outside and the top fan wasn't spinning on one of them.
But this morning when I turned the unit back on (this is now in 80 degree temp) the fan is spinning and the bottom floor is cooling.
Any idea what the problem could be?

Hello. My name is ***** ***** I'll do my best to help. Let's get started and see what we can do.You most likley need to replace the fan on the outdoor unit. Cutting it off allowed the bearings to cool down. it will quit again when it overheats
