Customer Question

I have a Friedrich window air conditioner. It is about 8 years old. I have never had any problems with it. Yesterday morning the remote worked and turned it on but last night it did not work. I cannot find anyone on Staten Island to look at it, let alone fix it. Can you help me.

Welcome! Your question will be answered in detail. UP to 48 hours step by step coaching on diagnosis & repairs $38 additional.
Friedrich is not a bad AC at all but is high priced and a bit of a minor brand, however many *appliance* repair companies will not have a problem fixing it.
Here are a few to try, let me know how it goes. If you can take it into their shop yourself it will save you $100 or more.
