I have an HVAC that is out of town and the Honeywell iAQ therm.

Customer Question

I have an HVAC that is out of town and the Honeywell iAQ therm. is reading Error 89, which means unit missing. Can you explain what may be wrong here, it sounds like a simple wiring problem. However I think I remember the Therm. terminating in a Honeywell communication device, then the device is wired to the HVAC. What reasons would the therm, not see the unit? Tks, Tom

That code does mean you may not have everything wired up correctly. Go into the installers menu and check to make sure you do. Here is a link to the manual for you to check it out.
