Ducted gas heater will start when cold but after a couple of off and on it won't fire up again Went outside fan turns off and on but gas won't fire up

The problem could be a flame sensing failure most commonly caused by a dirty flame sensor rod.. use *plumbers sand cloth* to polish it. You can find it by following the 'sense wire' from the honeywell ignition system.. its a long stainless steel rod protruding from a white ceramic insulator.
